Okay, so here's the deal. I am going to take pictures of some of the craziest, most...uh...abundant Christmas light displays that I see around town and post them up here on my blog. I cannot believe some of the stuff I see out there. Let me know if there is an extreme Christmas light display somewhere around town that I just can't miss.
Now, I'm not going for the tasteful, well lit yard with a few decorations. I am looking for the most explosive of decor. The kind that looks like the Christmas decor aisle at Lowe's AND Home Depot exploded on the house or business, because yes, I've seen some doozies at businesses as well.
So keep your eye out for the pics as I post them this week!

Umm, drive down D Street between 17th and Hawthorne and there's a craaaazy house with lights all over it. Their 2 neighbors are trying to join in on the fun but haven't quite reached the level of ridiculousness as the first. You'll notice it by the big NOEL alone the front fence... if you don't get distracted by all the other craziness goin on.
Also (because I'm a Christmas light geek), you have to check out the businesses that puked Christmas on the split going northbound (coming from south salem) between Commercial and Liberty. Christmas barf at its finest :)

Even though I'm not in Salem and there aren't many Christmas lights here in Haiti (power can be a problem here), there was a singing Santa in a shop the other day and it caught me off gaurd. I can't wait to see the pics of Salem's lights. I wonder if Bryan's house with make the cut :)
